Flow is Abundant

If you find yourself at work at 9pm because you were in a flow state that you didn’t want to break, listen up:

Flow is abundant. It can be created at any time, with your thoughts. Some days it might be easier to channel than others, but you never have to overwork if you don't want to because of it.

I reminded myself of this late one night, as my dry eyes ached from too much screen time, my tummy rumbled, and my dogs whined from being ignored. It felt so urgent and important to keep working, given I was motivated and being productive. Yet I was able to stop myself without the drama or worry about what more I could have accomplished.

This is me practicing abundance-thinking: knowing there is enough time for me to get what I want done. Not giving into the fear of missing out. Not making a lack of productivity mean something bad about me. Trusting myself that I can get back into the flow of things when it’s time. And truly believing that I am enough as is, no matter how much I accomplish.

An abundant mindset is one that needs practice, especially when “I don’t have enough time” is such a common thought. Want to learn what is getting in your way of an abundance mindset and the ability to take breaks when you’re in a flow state? Let’s chat!
